An appointment is a scheduled time, not a guaranteed one: weather moves roofing schedules, and after a storm event the queue lengthens. Any estimate is based on what could be seen at the time of assessment. Conditions that are only visible once a roof is opened — decking condition in particular — are handled through the allowance stated in the scope, and any work beyond the agreed scope is raised with you before it is carried out.
